Go into your Address book
Hit the Menu Button
Go to Filter
Make sure that both the business and personal box's are NOT checked
If they are checked you need to uncheck them
This should restore your contacts... If it does not restore them then you have a Bigger Issue!!!

Just got my Pantech Ease today, it won't let me add to my Address Book, it is not full...I only have 24 contacts...help?!?

Try this. First make sure your phone mode is not in Easy Mode but is set to Advanced Mode. Next press either Contacts or Address Book (depending on which screen you are start from). Either of these will take you to the Address Book screen. Now press the upper left icon which has a picture of a man with a wrench. This will take you to the My Settings screen. Scroll down to "View Contacts from" and press on it. Now try looking in both "Phone" and in "SIM". See if you find your contacts in either of those. It doesn't matter which one they are in because if you select "Phone and SIM" your contacts will then show up in your address book.

You can also use "SIM Management" and/or "Save Contact to" for managing exactly where you decide you want your contacts to reside. It is kind of confusing and they certainly do give you a lot of options and flexibility in managing your contacts. Probably more than most of use ever need but still nice to have if and when needed. Sounds like you might need it now; at least I hope this is the solution to your problem and you don't have a more serious problem. I hope this is helpful.

Contact Number

Hi, You can import phone data from a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card to the address book application on your BlackBerry smartphone.
Contacts in the address book can be saved to the SIM card individually. You cannot import data from the address book to the SIM card.
To import a single contact, complete the following steps:
1)On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, open the Address Book.
2) Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. The SIM phone book is loaded.
3) Select the contact you want to import, then select Add to Address Book.
4) In the New Address screen, add any additional information.
Import all contacts, complete the following steps:
1) On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, open the Address Book.
2) Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. The SIM phone book is loaded.
3) Display the menu and select Copy All To Address Book.
4) Go back to the Address Book and make sure all the entries are displayed.
After adding information to ddress book you can able to veiw contact list, I hope this information will be helpfull.

Unlocked 8700c blackberry sim card info not showing

Yes, the blackberry and SIM memory are different.

You will need to copy all contacts onto the BB memory to make full use of its features.

You can do this by going to address book /Options/ SIM Contacts and Copy All to address book.

Your SIM Card is like a floppy disk, so if you want to permanently add those people from your sim card to your Blackberry - you need to copy from the SIM into the BB Address Book. Otherwise they will be on the SIM Address Book, and you can always go look them up - but they are not saved on the BB itself.

BB: To access your cell phone address book:
  1. Scroll to select the ADDRESS BOOK icon and press [Trackwheel] to select.
  2. Press [Trackwheel] again to access the Menu screen for the address book.
  3. Scroll to select the SIM PHONE BOOK and press [Trackwheel] to select.
  4. system should say LOADING SIM PHONE BOOK.
  5. Then if you select the menu - you should have an option to COPY ALL TO ADDRESS BOOK, select YES so it will copy whats on the SIM to the BB Memory..
This will start the download process to read the contacts stored on your SIM card which were copied from your cell phone.

Unable to view my Address book

This is typically caused by a filter being applied in the address book. Open you address book, press the BB menu button, and select filter. Once you are in the filter options, make sure that all check boxes are unchecked, then exit back out.

This may not be the cause of everyone's issue, but it may be a solution to some of the problems.

Another thing to check is if the contact are actually in the "Sim Phone Book" opposed to the regular address book. Open your address book, press the BB menu key, and select "Sim Phone Book". After doing this, you may see all of your contact in there and you should be able to copy the contacts to the BB.

Transfer contacts list

1. From the standby screen (the first screen when you open your phone), go to the menu.
2. Scroll to the address book and press select.
3. Scroll to the address you wish to copy (or any address if you want to copy all of them) and press the menu key.
4. Go down to copy and press select.
5. Select "Entries" to copy just that one entry or "All to SIM" if you want to copy all your addresses to your SIM card, or "All to Phone" if you want to copy them all to your phone.
6. Select Merge or Override. Merge will combine any addresses that are already on your card with the ones you are now copying, Override will replace anything that is already there with the ones you are now copying. Be careful in deciding which you want to do since Override will delete anything previously saved and merge will duplicate any that were already saved and are being saved again.
