Question about Mitsubishi WS-55809 55" Rear Projection Television
Move vertically. The tv was on and fine, then all of a sudden the red dropped. I tried the convergence, but it won't readjust.
You have convergence output failure. The output ICs will need to be replaced and possibly a small component like a resistor or fuse or two as well. Expect to pay a service company $350-$450 to resolve this.
