The pass code should be 0000 (four zeros), it's always been that for
Plantronics headsets. Here are a couple of things to try. First,
remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may
become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often.
Simply turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few
seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. Second, you
want to reset the headset. The attached user guide for the Plantronics
Explorer 230 on page 7 will show you how to turn off / on the headset
and page 4 will walk you through the pairing process. Remember to
remove any previous bluetooth connections from your phone.
In the headset, try to enter into the pairing mode ( keep hold the power button few sec). On your cell phone, look for your bluetooth device menu. try to lookup devices. when the cell phone finds the headset, press the code 0000 ( four zero's..). Then, remember to keep to enable automatic connection, in order to not have to enter the code next time you use the headset.
On your bluetooth headset, hold down the power button until the light stays on steady. (it will blink when you initially power it on, but continue to hold for another few seconds for the steady light!) Your headset is now in pairing mode.
On your RAZR, press Menu > Settings and Tools > Connections > Bluetooth > Handsfree > Look for devices. Your phone will then scan for any bluetooth devices that are in pairing mode. When your headset pops up on the list, highlight it and press ok to connect.
If the device asks permission to bond with the phone, select yes. It will then prompt you for a pin code. The pin will be 0000 .
Try turning off the headset. Then setting your phone to look for bluetooth device. Touch and hold for ten seconds the larger button on the headset, should flash blue light rapidly. then command phone to find device, (commands differ from one phone to another). When phone "finds" headset blue light should change to intermediate flashing (three flashes every five seconds aprox.)
Hope this helps..
Turn off your earpiece. Then turn it back on but hold the button until the blue light comes on and stays on.(that puts it in discovery mode) Now go to bluetooth devices in you r phone and search for the device.
