Thanks for your post, friend!
I interpret that you would like to change out LCD screen on your Frigidaire washer. Typically, this is not a simple DIY job. I would recommend consulting with a professional technician for proper replacement of such electrical components to avoid any future issues. If you would like to order the part you should reach out to the manufacturer for the proper part number and price. Hopefully this has been helpful. -Matt
In order to get proper replacement parts for your Electrolux washer you would need to have the model number available. I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer, to guarantee the parts are correct. If you need assistance with installing the parts you may want to consult a professional for proper installation of replacement components. I hope this information has been beneficial. -Matt
I understand that all the lights will light up on your Electrolux washer, but it will not start. Give your appliance a hard reset, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Return power and try to start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Have a great day!
You should be able to go online to www.frigidaire.com and look under customer support and click the guides and manuels link enter you model number and you should be able to get a owners manual. If not there then call the manufacturer and ask them for one.
With nine years your machine reached an age that I consider close to end-of-life. Frigidaire / Electrolux boasts 25 years of warranty to some parts, but don't count on it. They'll enforce handling by an authorized service partner, upfront payment of several hundred dollars and eventually refuse refund due to too hard water in your area or they'll blame you of using unsuited detergents, all after two months of processing.
Leaking drums for these machines are quite common as they put together unsuited metals, in this case an aluminum extrusion spider in the back of the inner drum and steel parts elsewhere. Corrosion and leaking is pre-programmed.
A crack in the tub is a serious issue and hardly can be replaced, fortunately, most of the washer machines have a long time warranty on that part. I highly recommend you to get the manufacturer information and contact customer service for assistance. You may need to get a new washer machine. I believe the manufacturer (electrolux) will be able to assist, perhaps a rebate.
If you are drying your towels outside they will always be hard no matter what you try........ Drying them in the dryer is the only solution to that problem........ I have tried everything else and the dryer is the only thing that works..... Hope this helps
