Question about Digital Mind Corporation iQ Sound SC-PMP2225 MP3 Player
Can i get something to fix my problem i bought 2 rockchip mp3/4 players for my boys my operating system is windows vista home premium it takes windows 98/2000/xp/98me and the firmware update wont work for me i can download music and pics but movies and videos wont play what can i do please help am not computer smart
1.Install avi converter that came with rockchip.
2 Open program
3 Press add button
4 Press source file
5.Enter video that you want to convert in source fiile box
6 Enter target file path e.g "my converted files "you might want to create a new file for this .
7.Click the scope box.
8.It is a good idea to break the video up into segments, because you can not pause the player for very long before you will have to play the video from the beginning this is really annoying especially if you were half way through watching it
9. The first segment should begin at 00 and the time duration should be maybe 15 -20 min long ,the next segment would start from either 15 or 20 ect ect ,you might end up with maybe 10 parts or so to your video
10.After doing this press the save button you will have to do this for each segment of video, you will end up with multple entries on the converter.
11. Press close button on second screen ,this will take you back to avi Converter screen you will have multiple entries on it.
12 .Press convert now button and conversion will start
13. While the file is beiing converted bring up the location were the converted ffile is going for example "my converted files "or the new file that you created for them to go to .
14.In the "my converted files" section you will see your video segment being converted .you MUST wait until a picture of the video appears inside the icon rather than a computer icon .Once this picture appears you must rename the segment e.g right click on the picture annd renanme e.g transformers 1 or 2 or 3 ect ect
15. Once you have renamed segment then go back to avi converter and press delete the progress might only say 13 or 14 % but do not worry about this as long as you have a picture in the icon then you have that segment .then press convert now to convert next segment
16 DONT FORGET TO RENAME CONVERTED FILES OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE THEM WHEN YOU CONVERT NEXT SEDGMENT
17.you can either wait until all have been converted or you can transfer tthem straight into player .
hope this helps .

Before you do any of this look for additional sources to back up my theories for i have only had my mp3 player for a day,but it is still good advice as i am very smart with electronics
for the videos the format has to be avi(not sure if you can use wma or other formats but i do know and converted with this program=====2.4-2.8avi converter====if you don't got the program i can email it to you at firstname.lastname@example.org and please state what you want.i am not sure if this program is compatible with windows vista but it wouldn't hurt to try. then the firmware problem ussually doesn't matter because they don't upgrade it and you usually have to download it manualy to often so i wouldn't worry about it.if your player gets bugged up or you have software problems just back up your files and format the drive.you can do this by going to my computer and right click the drive with the mp3 player(removable disk or what ever you changed it to) and look for format.once you click on it. a little window should pop up and click okay.
if you have anymore questions email me, even if it is not about the mp3 player
