Question about Microsoft Xbox Console
Have audio - just no visual ..
SOURCE: xbox 360
If it has a hdmi cable and you or a friend has a tv compatible try and get a picture from their.
It sound that you might have a faulty cord for the video, or possibly the video drive has gone out on the 360, witch is a reported problem on many consoles.
Try to use b/g/r or the hdmi.
Is your switch on the correct location?
Av or High deff.

The problem here is the part where you plug the AV cable into the 360
has melted and/or corrupted and your VGA chip has melted) --- therefore
- cannot read the cable and in other words.
There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement. Also try this take the AV cable, plug it out and plug it in, if it still doesn't work unplug it, wipe the metal part with a soft cloth then plug it in. That might help.
