when i am trying to install the dwl-6700ap using the cd i keep getting, "click`n connect is unable to find the ap. please check the cable connection and make sure the ap is powered on." Well i did that but still i cant install it... Help O_O

- yes i am sure about that, but it actually says Discover the AP not Find the AP i dont know if that helps....Clarification Request

Were there quick install instructions?
They usually have you power up the modem after plugged into your DSL/Cable Modem, then plug in your computer.
Are you getting a link light that indicates its seeing the internet?

The cable from your laptop or desktop pc should be in port 1 (or 2, 3, 4) of the router. The WAN or internet port should be plugged into your cable or DSL modem.
Can you verify this?
