Sound problem with Pioneer VSX-859 RDS

I have the above linked to my DV-545 dvd player and for some reason i am
getting no sound through the centre speaker when playing DVDs.

Its fine when playing games or the sky through it and i cant think of
anything that ive changed recently to cause this.

Any ideas?

Update:

Just moved the dvd player to the vcr channel and reasigned the optical in
and centre speaker now works fine. So its a setup issue and i havent got a
clue on where to switch that centre speaker back on (on the default dvd
channel)

My heads hurting from reading this manual over and over again so please put
me out of my misery.
