I have purchased an auto xs power station and there was no user manual with it. I can only find that u have 2 charge this but there is only 1 green light on and im not sure if it is working or not. Can anyone help?
Hi, i had the same problem and emailed the manufacturer. They suggested that i try to charge it up using a regular car battery charger, simply connect the crocodile clips to the charger and trickle charge for 3 to 4 hours. this worked for me. hope you have same success.
they did say that if this did not fix the problem then i needed to replace the battery, a used motorcycle battery will do the trick.

Re: Auto xs power station
In most inverters the green light signifies that it is charging. When the power goes out, the red light comes on and the inverter provides backup power. The simplest way to check is to turn off you mains for a second and see if the inverter fires up.. If not then the inverter switch is not turned on. Just flip it to the other side and it will power up.

I was also looking for the manual. So came across this site. I have just connected a 12V 1A DC charger to the 12V DC input socket. Seems to be working fine. Both green lights are on - I seem to remember that when only the right-hand green light is on, the unit is fully charged. If I find my manual, will correct if needed.
It could be that the internal battery is too discharged for the AC charger (as supplied with the Power Station) to work. You could try charging the Power Station using a Vehicle (Car/Motorbike) 12 Volt battery charger, connecting the Crocodile clips on each unit. I''ve just done that, although once 'I'd got the Power Station battery's voltage above 2 Volts, I used a 'special' charger (Optimate 5) that automatically applies several modes including 'Desulfation' for recovery.
