Hi. Maybe someone can help me. After I enter directions on my gps and hit "go", a message pops up that reads "GPS OFF" and then it says "please proceed to route" but the direction is wrong! Has anyone ever encountered this problem? Its a Garmin Nuvi 350. Thanks!

Someone entered a PIN, and you'll have re-enter it to use the GPS again. The only people that can unlock it is the person that entered the PIN and Garmin. You'll have to contact one or the other. Be prepared to provide "proof of purchase" when talking to Garmin - as they won't unlock it "just because".
You can contact Garmin Technical Support directly, here.
Brand new device with a manufacturer provided upgrade and it doesnt work? - return it, or contact Garmin directly for a fix. If you start fooling with it, they will not help you. http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us
hi, I don't know if you managed to solve the no Vietnamese language directions for the garmin gps but here is one way to do it.
-Go to this link, download and install the voice studio
-When you run the program there will be a list of all the phrases the GPS unit uses to give u direction. when you record instead of reading the phrase written just say the phrase in Vietnamese( or whatever language you want) and save it.
-Once you record all the phrases on that list in the language of your choosing, then test hit the test button to make sure the phrases sound right.
-Finally just send it to your Garmin GPS unit.(Make sure that your device is connected to your computer when you send to the deice though). (Duh!!)
The Garmin may not recognize the street name you are entering due to a scroll error. When you type, it constantly looks up streets beginning with the letters you already entered. If you happen to hit a wrong letter, it automatically errors out. Have you updated the unit recently? If not try that first.
Load USB drivers to PC (if not done already), connect Garmin, turn Garmin on, run webupdater, follow on screen prompts.
Here's the link to the user manual if you need it;
To manually enter in the coordinates for a waypoint on the 60 or 76 -series units, use the following steps:
Press and hold the 'Mark' button.
Use the up arrow to scroll up to the "Location" field and press 'Enter'.
A new box pops up to enter in the new coordinates.
Go to "OK" and press 'Enter'.
Select "OK" at the bottom right corner to save all changes.
Hope this helps :)
I would say that it has a bit of Umzumbe fever probably from the water it sucked up when you failed to warn me that it was in my pocket when i jumped over board, a bit like a beer can, no upload available
