Question about HP PSC 2175 All-In-One InkJet Printer
The printer is clicking and won't print. It says it's scanner failure, and to turn the power off, then on again. I have done this firstly from the machine, then when that didn't work, from the mains plug. Please advise.Thank you.
Using the instructions found here
I opened the scanner and found that the cold-cathode lamp is failing. Moving the optical assembly away from its home position (to the middle of the scanner) allows the unit to initialize so at least the printer works.
I'll investigate availability of replacement lamps.
