Latitude D600 PC Notebook: i have dell latitude D630 laptop when i turn on...

Hi,

Do you have the drivers and software installed for the bluetooth module - you need to make sure that you have the correct Dell package installed in order for it to be registered.

Have you also checked under the computer device manager - does the bluetooth device show there?

I would also check in the BIOS to ensure that the bluetooth module is showing there and is set to enabled.

Hope this helps

How to turn my blue tooth on

First you need to make sure you have it, many a headache has happened just to find out they don't have it. Go into Device Manager, scroll down and if you do have it you'll see a Bluetooth button. Then go into Control Panel>Classic View>there will either be a Bluetooth Icon or a network places Icon depending if you are using Vista or XP. Double click on it and then double click on Bluetooth. That will put it in Discovery Mode. Then if a Bluetooth device gets near it then it will automatically pick it up and work. If you have any questions let me know..

rate this solution before logging off.
