Hi, This is really quite simple, The Hp wizard that comes with the software is great an gives you step by step when you ask it. Click on File, then Print and when the window for the printer pops up click on preferences and choose double sided printing (duplex). It will then print every other page of the document and prompt you with a picture showing you how to take the paper and refeed it for the other side. Pay attention as you don't turn it over like you might think. Good Luck!

Hi..this sort of thing is usually in the settings for the page, for each print job. Unless your print manager has this option, one thing try to remeber is that it's not an automatic, but a manual selection issue...

thank u.!!

On your computer have you enable the option on the printer settings. You may need to install this option to your PC.
On windows XP - click start then choose printers and faxes. Right click on the printer name that you need and click properties. Under here you may find an advanced tab, or installable options tab, make  enable double sided printing option is enabled....
    thank u!! rate me!!

If an inkjet has no double side option, then the only way top print double side on the printer is by reinserting paperafter printing side A.

Inkjets printer are generally designed to print copies in small number and are not particularly good to print double side in big number.

Hi how do you print double sided please

This printer does not have a duplex unit and cannot print double sided prints automatically.
The only way to print double sided is to print page 1 and the insert the page back into the printer tray with the page upside down and then print page 2. Repeat this for the other pages.
You need to do a test print first to work out which way to insert the page upside down in the printer paper tray so the printed text is aligned correctly on both sides of the page.

You need to enter the printer properties in your control panel and turn on the duplex feature. In properties you select paper size, orientation, print quality, and also duplex printing.

How to print double sided?

Most hp deskjet printers are not enabled for double-sided printing. This feature is common with laserjet printers. So if you are using a deskjet, please you may to manually print your double sided.

If your printer is a laser jet you will find the selection under your print menu. Press ctrl P (keyboard) and the print menu appears. Click on each tab to see which one is contains the double-sided selection button. select it and print. The tab should be titled "Basic" depending on the your printer.

If your printer is a deskjet, go through this procedure to see if your model is enabled for double-sided printing and enable it.

Double sided issues

Duplex means 2 sided copying. If you have an odd number of pages, then it will do this if you are sticking them all together (if I understand what you are saying correctly). Either seperate your jobs or stick a blank piece of paper at the end to correct this. Again, I am not sure if I am understanding your situation correctly, but I think that will correct it if its what I think you are saying? Clear as mud, huh?

Double sided is no longer an option with mac os 10.5.4

Go into the advanced settings of the driver and look for the settings that tell the copier what features you have. Make sure the duplex is turned on. Normally I set these up for Windows use and I have one client who uses a Mac and he did show me that the features do exist for the print driver.

Once it is enabled the double sided printer feature should work.

Question!

The Canon i560 has a manual duplex feature--in other words, once the printer prints one side (ie. odd pages), it will instruct you to turn the paper around in the correct position and reinsert to print the back side (ie even pages.)
