Error codes keeps coming up F28

As far as I know F28 error code means - SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS ERROR/MOTOR CONTROL UNIT ERROR. Caused by either a communications problem between the Central Control Unit and Motor Control Unit, or Motor Control Unit internal failure.

For the F28 error code:
First, check the wiring harness connections to the MCU, the Motor, and the CCU. Make sure all the connections are tight and there are no ground wires off. Then check the connections of the CCU board within the housing.

If the wiring connections are fine then It would be a good idea to order both, as both components have been problematic for the error code F28.

The F28 Error Code could Just be a Fluke But it is supposed to mean that there is no water entering so to be sure before running another load be sure hoses are connected and turned on.

On page# 4-20 it shows how to access your MCU.

F28 error means the CCU(central control unit) lost communication the the MCU(Motor control Unit) for an HE2 washer.
I would look inside the lower front panel and get the tech sheet and run a diagnostic test per the instructions... See what comes up. Review troubleshooting for the F28 make sure you did not miss anything.
