Question about IBM ThinkPad T30 2366 Notebook
The laptop has power but only gets as far as "Press F1 or F12" to reboot and another option which i forget, i dont have it with me at the moment. i tried to press both of these and nothing happened, its as if the whole system has frozen. it did load up to the desktop page a couple of times before this, but again just completely froze up
Pressing F1 is usually so accept the bios settings. This will happen if it loses all power and the BIOS internal Clock gets reset.
If you hit F1 it should get past that and let you set the clock in windows or you can hit DELETE key right as you tune it on and try and get into the bios. Some systems its F10, which ever gets you in the bios.
Then reset the bios to defaults, set the clock and reboot and see what happens.
Let me know whatever you can as far as details so i can try and help you the best i can.
