Question about Brother DCP-340CW All-In-One InkJet Printer
The red ink does not print at all. I have changed the cartridge but still not working
Try placing a piece of Black Electricians tape over the stepped part of the cartridge make sure it covers the whole of the length this will fool the sensor into thinking that the ink is full. If you just cover a part of it on a near empty cartridge it will save not installed.
This check is done to make sure that the print head doesn't dry out but in my opinion these are set too high and you can waste about 8% of you total ink. If you do this before you install the cartridge you will be able to use all of the ink. Then just replace it with a new taped one...
