The volume when changing input, source or equalisation is very high. Is there any way to reduce it.

What type of system is this on? Can you please provide more information? Brand/model is always good. Thanks!

Download driver sd ms pro mmc xd

If you have a hardware mute button on the keyboard, try pressing that. They usually look like a speaker with either an x beside it or a speaker that has a circle with a slash beside it. It may even be colored red.
The following answer assumes you're using XP, Vista, or Win 7.

If there is no mute button, click the speaker icon on the toolbar and see if the 'mute' box is checked. If it isn't, also use your mouse or touchpad to work the slider on the screen to try and turn up the volume.

Lastly, some Toshiba laptops have a separate hardware volume control on the front, like you'd find on portable radios.

ProBook 6450b mute button on keyboard is always orange

Is the volume muted or not when the light is orange? If it is muted then use the icon on task bar and increase the volume, to see if color changes. If it is not muted and a change of volume does not affect the color of the light, maybe that is the normal color for it. Did you read the manual and find that orange means trouble. On my computer, the light for my WifI is always orange.
The speakers may be muted by an Fn +Fx key sequence, or some additional buttons on the computer.

Sound is not there

Hi,,

1.Please check weather the sound driver is been installed properly on you laptop.

2.Then check weather in sound option the master volume is reduced fully or put in mute.

3.Then check the volume control on laptop is kept to minimum.

These are the possible cause for no sound.

Thanx

Webcam not working

Try reinstalling the WebCam driver, to do so:

Start Menu> All Programs> Acer erecovery management> Restore> install Application & Drivers> Select the appropriate WebCam (Suyian or Chicony) and install it and restart the computer.

Camera Assistant Software:
a. On the taskbar double-click the Camera Assistant Software icon , or from the Windows® Start menu, point to All Programs, Camera Assistant Software, and then click Camera Assistant Software. The Camera Assistant Toolbar location briefly displays on the desktop.
b. On the Camera Assistant Toolbar, click the Start Camera button and click on the icons on the software.
NOTE: If you are not hearing the audio portion of the video you created, try the following: Verify that you do not have the audio capture muted. An X appears on the Mute button when Mute is selected.
Click the Functions button, and then click the Audio tab. In the Audio Output section, verify that the Digital Mic is selected from the Audio Device drop down list, and then click Apply. In the Audio Volume section, use the slider bar to increase the volume level. Verify that the notebook's volume is not muted. Pressing the Fn+End keys mutes the volume. Pressing the keys a second time restores the volume. Increase the notebook volume level by pressing the Fn+PgUp keys

If the camera is still not working then can perform a factory restore, to do so follow the below steps: Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction. NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.

Yes, either flex cable(panel to motherboard) from control panel is bad or control panel itself.
Common problem.

Volume cannot be changed.Full Volume even if reduced or muted

You need to first find out what chipset your on-board card uses my friend. Check all the documentation to find out. You will need the exact set. Now search the net for an updated set of drivers that matches your operating system (XP SP1/2 etc). Now go to device manager and delete anything which has sound connections (MIDI Interfaces, MICs etc..). Now click the 'scan for changes' icon in device manager. Use the new drivers you downloaded.
