Question about Dell Pentium 3, 500 MHz Pentium III-M (53net) Processor Board
I have dell optiplex gx100 system with 500 celeron processor i want to upgrade it to 1 ghz what should i do ?should i upgrade the bios or some thing else plz help me
Hello, i would install the cpu you wish to use, then see how it runs. and then do a bios update. this may work,if not the motherboard may not be compatible with the cpu upgrade, (propriatory equipment sometimes does not allow such upgrades) like hit or miss! i hope this info helps, and you get the dell to accept the faster cpu. good luck! glen
