Re: hue wont align and causes ghosting
You need to replace the convergence ICs and pico fuses. The KP46WT510 convergence repair kit at the following link works for your model as well and the kit comes with instructions on how to do the repair. Its listed under the convergence repair kit category. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

projection sets on occation need to be re-alligned. check your owners manual if you have one and re-align your lamps to the test screen that is displayed when you press 'menu' from your remote or from the front of the tv. This should fix alot of it and you may find the color adjustments may need adjusting after re-aligning your lamps. hope this helps. I had one and that sounds like the 'ghost' images I had till I did this.
This sound like a convergence problem and maybe another problem for the pink symptom. I would not suggest to do it yourself on this one because after the IC's are put in and sometimes a resistor or two there is also a very extensive alignment that could occur. Just off the cuff have you pressed the magic focus button on the front? If magic focus don't fix then the convergence is bad . Suggest a good tv repairman.
Replace the convergence ICs. They are located on a large aluminum heat sink withSTK numbers stamped on them. They cost about 10.00 each. They have to be soldered in. Let me know if you need anything further.
