Hello the homepage is here:

Try to renew the lan-driver
But first select your windows system.
Open the lan folder, and click on global for download.
The file needs to be unziped, before you install the driver.
Please uninstall the old one first.

Did your internet connection work, before the problem occur ???
Try to check your internet connection, on another pc.
Is the router or modem set on ??

Try also this: open start = select run = type cmd press enter = type
ipconfig/ release press enter, and wait for the pc to work,
next type ipconfig/ renew and press enter.
You have now renewed your ip adress.

At the back of the pc, where you connect the lan cable, does the diodes lid ??? here is a amber and a green one.

You could also have a virus, or some kind of malware, so your internet is blocked.
Remove the virus with this program:

Hope this will help you

I have Intel 845GBV motherboard & have external LAN card of D-llink, modem & LAN cable which all are in working condition. I also have the LAN drivers installed, but I can't able to connect to...

you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP
also check all leads and connections make sure they are not faulty and have secure connections
you will have to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled or you could click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager look for network adapters + expand Ethernet driver if you see a yellow question exclamation mark or a red X you will need to update/reinstall the driver for the device if you computer came with a motherboard disk the driver could be on it
make sure your modem/routers settings are correct ie:password user name, firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connection
last resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online
hope this helps

I just built a CPU using the ASUS P8H67-M LX (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel H67 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Intel Motherboard. When I restart the computer or when its idle for a while it losses the internet connection....

Have you installed the lan driver from the asus site or the motherboard cd. Always use the drivers from the Asus site. Reinstall the Lan driver and see what happens. I have had many bad lan's on motherboards and end up fitting a pci lan card, then all is well. Also you should check your settings to make sure disconnect when idle is not ticked.

Can I run 2 laptops off the same modem

There are several ways. Windows XP & Vista & 7 have 'ICS' ("Internet Connection Sharing") that allows you to connect the second computer to the first computer, and the first computer to the modem, so that the first computer is a "gateway" to the Internet for the second computer.

Or, buy a "router" -- connect the modem to the "uplink" port on the router,
and connect (wired or wirelessly) multiple computers to the "LAN" ports on the router.
The router acts as a "gateway" to the Internet for all the computers on the LAN.

No lan

Download the drivers onto a CD via an Internet-accessible computer:

Ensure that the the device is enabled & that the network device (modem/router/etc.) is powered on & functioning.
Reseat the Ethernet cable on both ends.
Try using a different cable.
Reboot the network device & the computer.
Look for activity lights at the LAN port once connected to the running network device.

Inspect for or any other listing in the proxy server settings:
Select "Run" from the Windows™/Start menu, type "inetcpl.cpl", press [Enter], go to the "Connections" tab, & click on "LAN settings". If nothing there has been selected, then it is not the problem.

If this is a new problem on an older machine, then it could result from a firewall setting or from malware or a virus.

If all else fails, try installing a NIC (network interface card) in order to get around the non-functioning component.
