The fuse rating should be on the metal side of the metal ends of the glass fuse. Very hard to read amps and rating, may need a jewelers lupe. Or take the remains to Radio Shack.

The numbers around it are not helpful. Usually where the fuse is connected or plugged in there will be written on the board stating the amp such as 2amp, 3amp. Depending on the circuit it is in I would try a 4amp and see if it holds. I would not go higher than 5amp. If it blows you have other issues. Let me know how you do.

That's a start, you probably have a bad horizontal output transistor. It would be located around the high voltage transformer. It will be on a heat sink (flat transistor on a flat metal) usually has three leads and the board will have Horizout possibly on the board. There is a number on the transistor like S2055N you have to put it back in the exact way it came out, if you have soldering capabilities.

Hello bondaddy60, I believe this may be your problem since this is a common issue in this RCA ITC222 chassis, I posted this earlier and I beleive that it can help you, Hello This is a common problem with the ITC222 chassis, I would check CP120, CP140, CP150 to see if they are bad I suspect CP150 is the one that is bad. Its value is 2200uf 16VDC. It is located on the same board as the IHVT and is in between the Heat sink in the middle of the board. I would also like to say that if possible you should get a qualified TV Technician to repair this set for you, due to the nature of this problem and the dangerous voltages present. I hope this helps, Shuttle83 http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com

RCA R52WH74 (ITC222A Chassis)

no the board that has the FL231 on is the ITC222 deflection board. The other board is above the chassis in a seperate frame that runs across the set the convergence power supply is the board on the left above the board where the fL231 is. Yes the ITC222 and ITC222A are the same chassis. As for the service manual that site should have the service manual under the thomson category as the ITC 222 chassis is actually a thomson chassis made for RCA.

RCA D52W17 ANTENNA/CABLE ANALOG INPUT

That is an ITC222 chassis and one of the more dependable RCA units built. The "F" connector is the part you're referring to and it's not something that carries a specific part number for that unit. In the shop here we simply buy them by the box and the tuner will have to be removed to install a new connector. The new one will be soldered to the chassis of the tuner and less likely to break in the future. Not something you probably want to do yourself, but at least you'll know what to ask the shop when you're calling around for estimates.
