You need to get a non-3g sim card, or get a 3g phone. Only the very latest Chinese mobile phones are 3g compliant, as China (apparently) does not have a 3g network as yet. Unfortunatley you can't modify the sim card or the phone to fix this problem.

another SIM card (maybe of another provider). If this is working, you
most probably need to configure your network settings manually. Check
chinamanuals they have i68 manuals with network settings for major providers.
i have the same problem i keep on putting my sims in (one tesco sim & one voda phone sim) and it said the same thing invalid sim. the sim regestars for about 2 seconds then it either says invalid sim or emergancey calls. whats a matter with it should i send it back.kjr2502
