Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Your Vista Windows Media Player is probably missing the right codec to play this type of movie.
A good and stable Vista Codecpack you can download from: http://shark007.net/vistacodecpackage.html

For some reason, my video is a .mov file and when I try and import it into Windows Media Player to rotate my video, it says that file type is not supported. What can I do?

First of all, you can't rotate a video without some expensive software installed on your computer and even then, the results will be poor at best. Download Quicktime from Apple to play your video...it's a free download.

Camera wont record sound

DSC-S930 does record sound and you can hear video clip sound by playback of Media Player in Computer.
This camera does not have inbuilt speaker for playback sound but it have inbuilt mic to record sound, transfer recorded movie clip in computer and play it with media player to get sound and picture.
Hope this info will help you.

Canon ixus camera says my movie clip is an error

The video files your particular camera makes should be AVI format. What media player are you using? I've heard of problems playing AVI files with Windows Media Player.
Try using a different media player like VLC or Winamp. There are also video format conversion programs out there for free. I use anyvideoconverter for that. You can get all of those programs from cnet.com's download center.

Video clips play upside down

Make sure you have a mpeg4 decoder loaded into your computer.
You could try another player too.  www.divx.com is a great mpeg4 media player to use and it is free.

Problem playing movie Samsung L200

tarap722,

Hey, I just got the camera the other day and it is an awesome camera. The videos that the camera take are in mpeg-4 format and do not play in your regular media player, they will however play in some newer cell phones such as the Blackberry and can you guess.......most Samsung phones that have video capability. I believe the new RealPlayer will play the videos for you, just go to real.com and get the free one. ;) Play around with the camera, it's does so many things (very customizable), it's for people that don't to pay for a professional $1,900.00 camera, but it does just as good with the exception of being able to change the lens. Hope this helps.

Finepix viewer movie clip rotation

video clips cannot be rotated. Don't shoot them in a vertical orientation, unless you want to rotate your monitor to accomodate them. Shoot video with the camera in horizontal orientation only.

How to rotate a video clip I took vertically??

Vista
Start - Programs - Windows Movie Maker
Click Import Media - select the video clip you want to rotate from your files and point and click on it to highlight it - then click the import button lower right corner of screen.
When the file name appears - drag the clip to the video line at the bottom of the screen - point at file name and hold down right mouse button while you move the mouse to point at the video timeline then let go of the right button to drop the video into the timeline.
Point and RIGHT click on the clip you just added to the timeline
Click Effects
Scroll down to Rotate 90 and click to highlight it (you could also flip the video with 180 or 270)
Click the ADD button
Then click OK
The video will rotate.
Be sure to publish and save the new video with a name you can find...
File - Publish Movie - to computer will save it as a file on your PC - to DVD will start another program to create a DVD...

Have Fun
