Question about HP Pavilion dv2715nr Notebook
I have an HP Pavilion dv2715nr Entertainment Notebook PC and all of a sudden, the keyboard seems to be locked. I tried restoring the computer. I did the sweeping thing with my spyware thing. just in case. and the mouse doesnt work either. the wireless mouse does. but i cannot type anythin on the computer. What can I do? I dont want to take it to BestBuy's Geek Squad cause they will keep my comp for weeks and erase my files. I need my comp for my school and i really dont know much about computers and technology so im very clueless of why and how is it that keyboard got locked? or if its broken? or why cant i type or move the mouse? please help me
I had the same problem and called hp i was told to turn off my notebook and unplug the charger from the notebook take the battery off and hold down the power button for 30 seconds then reattach everything my keyboard started working again. i was told this happens because i donot let the battery die on my laptop or i keep it plugged in all the time which is true the notebook has to much static and the keyboard stops working. hope this helps
