Question about LG LDF6810ST Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
We have had this dishwasher for 8 years and this is our first problem.
Will not start on Wash cycle. Machine will empty prior to start but will not wash. After about 10 minutes we get the error code of E1.
Please can you help?
Please check at both ends of the drain hose and confirm that you do nit have a leak. Also, please confirm that water is not leaking directly under the dishwasher.
If you are certain that you do not have a real leak, check the impeller (under the mesh filter in the sump area beneath the lower dish rack) is not damaged and is firmly in place.
The E1 error code is a Leakage Error, detected by the motor spinning faster than it should if the unit is filled with water.
Please report back with what you find. Good Luck!
