Question about Ariston Technologies L63 Free-Standing Dishwasher

Open Question

Ariston L 63 BSW dishwasher 1st & 2nd lights flashing

I have a ariston L 63 BSW dishwasher. the 1st & 2nd lights (from the left) and the machine does not want to finish its cycle. there was a bit of food block the filter but i removed it and unplugged the appliance to reset it. it still does not function.
what do i do? Led 1 & 2 flash. The water won't drain and the cycle won't complete. I have thoroughly cleaned the drainage pipe and can syphon water out via the draining pipe. When the water is emptied, the cycle will start again briefly and stop when the machine fills with water. This is a long standing recurring problem. Workman keep saying it is blockage.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: Ariston Dishwacher error message

I found a very good page for this problem on the internet - http://www.almesberger.net/ld87/al03.html -
After reading that page, I knew exactly what to do. In my case, something had stopped the pump from working, So I could solve the problem without removing the pump.

L 63 B NA Ariston

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to
detect any operating anomalies. These anomalies are reported by
one or two wash cycle indicator lights "G" flashing rapidly.

Ariston LI640A 2nd and 4th light flashing

Usually this is a sign that you should call the repairman. However, I had a flashing light once because I made the mistake of trying to use my Ariston without turning on the water to it. I unplugged it from the power and let it sit for about ten seconds. When I plugged it back in, the flashing light was gone. I am not sure if this will help you or not but it is certainly worth the try.

1) Ensure the dishwasher is turned off.
2) (may not apply) Turn the plastic blue lever located under the sink to the vertical position (this opens the valve, so water can go into the dishwasher)
3) Pour powder indo the dishwasher
4) Turn the dishwasher controller to the top position (the 12 o’clock position) – this is the eco-setting.
5) Press the on/power button on the dishwasher, so that it now turned on (a light will display)
6) Move the dishwasher controller to the “R” position (it’s on the very left), and leave it there a second or two.
