I have a 2wire modem that is connected to my Hp and i use my D-Link wireless adapter to connect my other pc (HP Pavilion a1600n) to the internet, everything was working well until I did a system recovery and then reinstalled the D-Link and get the Limited or no Connectivity message.

Hi there if you right click on your device than go to properties than look where it says configuer and click on it and look through all of the settings you will see that some of them are disabled and they should be enabled also a big one is the different link speeds and range so try these and see if that helps ok

Dlink dfe690txd ethernet card an my laptop i need instuctions on using it to get on the internet

Ok, install the drivers from the CD that came with the card, if you do not have these download them from D-link. After you have installed them, you then use that Ethernet adapter to connect to a Router/Modem, the Router, or Modem then connects to the Internet. Your Laptop connects to the Router/Modem, and then you can access the Internet.

Is the DWL-520 Wireless Adapter compatible with the 2701 HG modem

Hi,
The 802.11b and 802.11g Wi-Fi networking standards are generally compatible. An 802.11b router / access point will work with 802.11g network adapters and vice versa.
There is no such conflict reported with the above devices. But as suggestion use an 802.11g wireless card with the Bell as it would give you better performance

Thanks for using Fixya
