Question about HP PSC 750 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Open Question

I need to print invitations on odd sized paper; won't print corre

HP PSC 750 Printer Need to print invitations on 5.5" by 8.5" paper in landscape orientation. I can't figure out how to get the paper into the printer so that it prints "square" on the page and correctly centered. I have changed the document size to custom, but printing hangs off of the page when I put the paper up against the right side of the paper tray. If I put the paper in the center of the paper tray, I can't seem to get it aligned properly and it is always crooked. I really need to do this to print the invitations for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Help!

Make sure your sheets are aligned and tucked in with the paper feed rails, otherwise, it will slightly veer off one of the sides.

Also, if you haven't replaced the paper feeder rollers, do so, one must be worn out more than the other, and this also prevents the sheets from going through straight.

Hope That Helps!

somewhere i believe you have auto rotate enabled in the driver, and it is cancelling your application's landscape setting. Good Luck!

If you are printing from the included software, it has options for labels with vertical printing. If printing from a third party program, you can go to the dirver settings and change the printing orientation.

My hp J4680 won't feed envelopes, the envelopes goes part of the way in and then fails to print

Hi

The envelopes are standard in size hence do not use any odd sizes. And also do remember that you make the required alignment and also the feeding directions and positions. If you print in Landscape then the paper is too short for the printer to pick. Hence use Portrait so your printer can sense the presence of the envelope

When I try to print invitations on my HP 4680 they do not print the right size I set margins to 5.5 x 8.5 but it prints on 8.5x11.

Hi,

When your print or during the print preview, press the "setup" button.
Change the paper size to the desired size
like for example 8.5x11, 8.5x13, A4 size and envelope size.
Select also the landscape mode not the portrait mode.

Printing 5x7 card stock in HP 1510 injet all-in-one printer

You need to set up your printer preferences to accommodate the type and size of paper you wish to use, usually listed under printer/print or page set up.

Invariably, paper is loaded, butted to either left or right of the paper feed, but on the other side of the feed there should be a sliding stop which keeps your paper in place.

If feeding from the top feed, print side towards you, if printing from a tray at the bottom of the printer, print face down.

You can download a user manual from here once you've chosen your model printer:-

Paper mismatch error

I got around this problem by tricking the printer.
The paper sensor, on my printer model hp4500 seems to only sense the paper at the beggining of the print job.
What I did to trick the printer to print on odd size paper is slide the paper adjuster to 8.5 and put a regular white sheet in. Then put your odd size paper under it. When you print your document set the number of copies to 2 and print. The printer is going to sense that the paper is correct, and start the job.
Here is the tricky part... once the first 8.5x11 sheet is almost all the way through quickly slide the paper adjuster over to match the size of your odd width paper. The printer should pick up the odd paper and print the second copy. Fool you printa! You should be able to do batches of odd paper size under the first 8.5X11. I hope this helps.
