Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop
I purchased a used Dell 4400 @ a swap meet and am having a problem with the loggin on XP. It will not allow me to boot up from a legit XP CD i currently own. It loops back to the loggin window.
I is continually rrequesting that I register the current version of windows which seems to be incorrect. I attempted to type in the Key on the MS official logo on the PC but it did not work.
Hi there if you hit the del key when booting up the computer this will bring you to the bios screen now just go to the boot section and make the first boot device the cd rom and the second device your hard drive save and exit and reboot with the xp disk in the cd rom . best regards mike
