Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
I think I can fix it. Please e-mail if you still cannot access it.
I have some expensive software that I use in repairing systems.(I have 35 years experience working on PC's).
I happen to be working on a 5715Z notebook system right now.
I have an "A+" Industry Certification which is a very difficult examination one must pass to be certified.
I am a certified public school teacher in vocational trades, with my specialty being Microcomputer Repair. I always work for minimal donations just to replenish supplies and to defray the cost of utilities such as buying this pricey software. Most shops I know charge $60-$75 / hr. but my typical donations are only about 1/3 of that cost. If we were in close proximity to each other, I would be glad to fix it.
If you know anyone who is very familiar with Linux, you can also do the following:
Boot the system with a Ubuntu Linux Boot Cd and then you can access your files using the File Manger utilities. Download all your data to a Flash drive and if necessary, move the data to a different computer where you can burn the data to a CD / DVD.
Then install your original Windows Disc and reload the system.
I hope that helps you.....if you need additional info, please send e-mail.
