Hello fellows,
Does any body have any experience with using D-Link DSL 100D
PCI ADSL modem? I am planning to buy it soon as it is quite within my
budget though I am not sure whether this modem will work with my ISP or not.
Please let me know if anybody has any bad luck with this modem or any good
luck,
thank you

err... that was meant the other way around. That is to say, that purchasing
a modem that may or may not work on their network will be more of a hassle
in time and expense in getting to work than not.
???
*I'm confused already. Is it Beer o'clock yet?*

Then there is probably some good advice in that statement - go with the one
they supply and support. The cost will eventually outweigh the trouble you
will probably inherit by purchasing a rogue modem that isn't guaranteed to
work on their network.

Thannx,
U mean after your ISP upgraded to Ehernet you can't use it any
more with your ISP? Please explain. My ISP is iinet. they recommended DSL
300+ Ethernet modem. But I don't want to spend that much when the PCI modem
is available for considerably cheaper price.
Regards
Damian

I didn't have bad luck with it, just my ISP, have since upgraded to
Ethernet.
I have one for sale for $100. Has only been used for testing around 2 hours
worth of work.
Let me know if you are interested. That includes postage Australia Wide.
