Question about HP Pavilion Media Center a1330n - AMD Athlon 64 2.4GHz Desktop Computer (Open Box Product, Limited Avai... (EL466AAABAOB)
OS is XP
Have installed other games and software this week w/o incident. Error pop-up reads 'administrator has policies in place to prevent this install'; I am the admin and am logged in as same and have not set any such policy; I have the latest updates; I have tried restarting, closing all anti-virus programs b4 installing, scandisk and defrag.
The game is FEAR 2 and the PC meets and exceeds the min reqs for the game.
You need to log into the Administrator account to install it, i don't know why but someone has set user security on that PC.
