Try to remove your battery for 10 minutes. you will have to reset the timer but this will remove optional functions in the phones.

hope that helps.

I NEED HELP REPAIRING MY I9 SCREEN

There are basically two ways to do this. You can get online to the Java website via your WAP browser and enter in the code for the CECT installation ((wap.GetJar.com and then quick the download code 30827.) I usually download via USB though as this puts a copy onto my computer (in case it accidentally gets deleted) and it doesn?t cost any money or data to do this. For the Java installation, go to the get jar website. Make sure that you have the device set to CECT A100 (the CECT default.) Connect the phone to the computer via USB. Hit the mass storage icon on the phone. Click on the jar file that you want to download. Click save. Next, find the drive that your phone is listed under. (For me, this is K:/, but it may be something different in your case.) Click OK. Then, unhook the phone from the USB. Go into the document icon on the phone. Find the received file and then scroll down until you see the browser and click it. Then click ?install.? Now, you?ll go into Java icon. You?ll see the browser in the list of Java files. Then click launch. Opera should launch and you can start browsing. Most often, when something goes wrong here, it?s because the data, WAP or Java settings aren?t correct. You?ll need to go in and set them up depending upon your carrier. For example, if you use T Mobile, you?ll need to input the T Mobile WAP, port, and data settings. Typically, you set the data first, then the GPRS, the WAP, and the MMS. Finally, go into the JAVA settings and make sure that T Mobile (or AT&T, or which ever carrier that you are using) is reflected. There are many resources that will give you the Internet settings for almost every applicable carrier that you can think of. If for some reason you can?t get online, I?d check to make sure the phone isn?t set to the original Chinese or factory settings. Internet on or off?

The phone only uses internet when it needs to download something or if browsing the internet. If it is on the data network (internet) it will show two arrows immediately beside the bars that are shown for cell tower strength.

Dont confuse it with the Wi-Fi which is a seperate icon and has a antenna with a circle on top + beacon

If you do not want your phone to get messages automatically make sure you go to programs>windows live>menu>options>sync schedule>set sync frequency to manual. This will make it so it will only sync when you go to the mail tab or inbox and press send/recieve in menu.

Also go to settings in touchflo (home) > data > make sure download weather automatically + when roaming is uncheck.

If you are really concerned about internet usage, ask for your data to be blocked. Carriers usually don't like you doing this, so tell them 'are you sure' etc. and just be 'forceful' in a nice way :P

3g No Longer Working?

hi, what model of Razr do you have please? I read where you said it was a v3 but the v3 do not have the 3g. the v3x, v3xx, and a razr2 v8 all have the 3g. I guess it might be possible for someone to add 3g to a v3 but they don't come with 3g from Motorola as far as I know. You can look under the battery and it should tell you the model.
It sounds like your settings might have gotten changed in your cell phone. You can check your settings by going to at&t support site, then tutorials
