Question about Dual Electronics CECT P168 Cellular Phone
I have at&t service and everytime i lose service it goes in to emergency mmode and the stay there until i take my sim card out and put it back in what do i do???
The i9 is a knock off iphone which is produced over seas.
They are poorly constructed but do "as some ads say" pack in the features for cheap.
Well the i9 online says is quad band which supports
850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz
Thats just the type of connection it conects too.
in rural areas your most likely on the 850MHz Band, and the early models of this device didnt support 850Mhz.
I used to have one and i lived in a rural area = No Service.
Just from my opinion, i dont think that its actually quad band. Remember it is a knock off and it is false advertising but the earlier models did not support 850MHz..
I really doubt they do now.
Depending on what service your using, ATT, T-Mobile... Etc Etc.. you can go to there website and look at the coverage map and see what Band you lie under.
if you are in 850MHz than we could be on to something about false advertising :p but if your above that, lets say 900Mhz.. than most likely its a problem with the phone. and i wouldnt be shocked as it is a knock off.
and as for it being stuck in emergency mode, just doesnt have signal and when you take out you sim and restart it will try to connect and will till it looses signal and go sit back in emergency mode until you restart again..
could be signal, could be the phone.
i would search your coverage map and let me know.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
