Hi
first check your monitor cable, remove it and fix it again.
even if monitor dose'n start then open your cabinet and inside it there is one auxilary cable( having 4 pin connector)if wire is removed then fix it on motherboard near cpu fan n ur problem will be solved.
thanks for a chat.
any more problem then you can ask me.

Acer ASpire M1100 shows No Signal on monitor

Any time a monitor says "no signal" that message is originating from the monitor itself, and not from the computer. A monitor in a room by itself with no computer will say "no signal" for a brief time, if it is turned on. So, if you have tried other monitors also with no luck, then the problem is either the video adapter of the computer, or something that is keeping the computer from booting in the first place (power supply, hard drive, memory, motherboard). A power supply can be tested with an inexpensive tool. Everything else needs either a swap out with a known good stand-in, or else an expensive tool to know if it works.Does the fan come on when you turn the computer on? If so, maybe more likely to be the motherboard, hard disk, or memory. If not, more likely to be the power supply.

I have no monitor what so ever...i hear the fan running on my tower and i have the power light...i bought a new video card and cords but i cant see to install the video card what do i do or what did i do...

Clean the connectors of the monitor cable. Clean your RAM and check the disk. Most probably a cable fault. If you see the Hard Disc indicator while booting then no problem with the disk (since you get no error messages).
Please rate the answer if it solves the problem. Thank you for contacting Fixya.

Dell Optiplex GX270 - Freezes up!

You may have either a memory chip gone bad or the CPU overheating. Withot seeing it and testing it's hard to tell you which. But one thing you can try is if you have 2 RAM installed, try to remove 1 and see if the problem continues. If so, change them and put the one you removed back and remove the other. if it continues then you may have an overheating problem.

Otherwise, you can try a SCANDISK and DEFRAG to clean up the hard drive and data.

Cannot finish disk defrag

Hi!

Seen that before! microsofts defrag tool isent the best one if i may say so. If you have any programs running in the background it wont finnish, so you can either stop all running programs manualy and the defrag will finnish, OR you can Use another defrag tool,
Here are two:
O&O Defrag is one of the best, but its not free:

Auslogics Disk Defrag is a good toll and its free:

Now, make your chioce and enjoy a good defrag tool:)

Good luck

Viewsonic VG 2030 WM monitor went to sleep and never woke up again. Now has black screen with blue box and "No signal Analog" error message. Have tried restarting, unplugging, replugging, with...

this has nothing to do with monitor because its says no signal, meaning its working!!!
you need to be looking at the computer for possible hardware failures i.e. graphics card, memory and bios reset etc

best regards

If you reformatted the hard drive, you have erased everything. If you have restore or backup disks use them now.
