Question about 1995-1997 Chevy 1500 Truck Ignition Starter Alarm Switch
Changed electric fuel pump so its not that. my mechanic put wire into fuel pump relay then started the truck fine he said something about staring it direct but we are not sure what the problem is i changed the relay but that didnt solve problem. could it be electrical
Try putting a dab of solder on each one of the contacts on the fuel pump relay. i had a similiar situation where the relay contacts in the fuse box got strectched out over time so i put a dab of solder on each terminal to beef the contacts up and it worked perfectly. i think this will work because if the mechanic put a wire jumper in the contacts then electrical it is fine.
