Question about Toshiba TP50G60 50" Rear Projection Television
Just today my toshiba 50 inch projection TV started malfunctioning. when i turn it on i hear the activation noise and volume and see the red power light but yet it doesn't show the screen i tried plugging it in and out but it still wont work please if you have a answer please reply to this post
If you are capable of some basic troubleshooting you can determine what's wrong but you won't likely be able to fix it yourself. If you remove the TV's back panel, you can locate three plug connectors for the convergence correction yokes. You pull the red, blue, and green connectors and then plug the TV back in and hit the power button. If the TV comes on, its a failure of the convergence output ICs and will cost $350-450 if you call in a service company.
