Sanyo 4370 - Unable to find GPS

When I click on the GPS Status, all the icons for satellite icons have red circle indicating that it is not available. When I look at the Product Information, it says GPS version as "Not available". Basically, GPS signal is not available. How can I fix this? Sanyo does not have any info on their website nor are they available whenever I call.

Make sure your GPS is not blocked. Try to acquire sattelite signals in an open and clear area. From Main Menu, tab Sys Info. and tab GPS Reset. After this, wait for a few minutes and check GPS Status again. Sometimes it takes a while depending where you are located.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Unable to get India maps for loading in to it. Can you help by letting me know how to go about?

You should contact Sanyo.
The maps on the device are from Navteq (smart2go).
Sanyo isn't on the manufacturer list.

Main menu with no picture icons

Looks like the ShellDisk (Sanyo proprietary disk) is corrupted. If you have a good copy of it you can try to restore it but most people don't know how to back up it at first place.
