O key is constantly failing

I have spent more time correcting my spelling because of the "o" key failing so much seems all the other keys work ive tested it in notepad and it definitely fails about 1/3 of the time

Hi there:
if you take a small flat head screwdriver and gently pry off the key than examine the area where the key is held in place make sure that there is no dirt or debris in the hole blow it out if you can and then reinsert the key it will have a definate snap to it when it is installed all the way now test it and see if that helps ok best regards mike

Unless you have the patience and know-how to tear it apart and clean it all up I would say you would save a lot of money on aspirin by getting a new one. Almost every one I've seen taken apart for something like this ends up with loose keycovers which sometimes jam against each other and do not allow the key to actually strike the sensor so spell-checker is a constant companion with them.

Hi, your Laptop has a integrated keypad. You or someone else might of turned this on, thankfully it is easily fixed. Just follow these steps,
1. Find and press the "Fn" key.
2. Find the F11 key there should be in blue letters "NumLk"
3. Press F11 while holding down the Fn key.
This should turn off the integrated keypad
Hope this works ~Kaleb~
