My kodak easy share z1275 wont power on. I have bought new batteries but it still wont power on

When I turn my camera on a orange/red light is flashing where the it's normally green. I went and got a new battery, the light still flashes red. And no matter what picture taking setting I have it on the Flash won't work. I've tried charging the camera, I've tried charging the battery itself. Still not working.
