Can be done just need PATIENCE!.. youll need ot remove the door assembly, and the 2 screws oppisirethe heing willalow for the front "u" shaped panel to be reomved.. next remove the 4 screws from with in the dispenser area, and then there are perhaps (6) 5/16 screws holding the nextfront bulkead and maintop assy down.. after removing theese screrws youll be able to lift eh main top back wards( prop it with something, a few more screws will release te hlatch assembly.. from here you can probably install the new bellow, remove the spring and wire, and the work the new bellow around the tub lip. a third hand will come in handy, after working it around , youll needto reconnect the tension spring..HARDEST PART OF JOB>>> REQUIRES PATIENCE!!!!!. sometimes this goes on for me with out issue in 5 min, other times 25 min and im PISSED AT IT!!!!!!!,, wrap the wirer around bottom of lip and your going to hold one end of spring, needlenose vice grips work perfectly. then with another set of needle nose. stretchthe spring togethr to lock the wire around.. whern you finally get this reassemble the latch and drop the top back down replace all teh screws, and finally you need to retuck the bellow into the front bulkhead( tabbs line it up nicley.. good luck!!!

Replace door seal

its quite easy on this machine, you can view a video on Espares.co.uk or remove front panel ,seven screws 4 top 3 bottom unclip wire on seal at front seal has two large clips to secure one outer and one inner, I find it best once the front panel is loose to unscrew the door interlock to fully remove cover once this is done you can see the workings and the exposed seal good luck.

Replace crankseal on 1997 mpv

front crank seal or rear.
Front involves cambelt removal so you might think of changing that too
rear involves gearbox and flywheel removal so if it's a manual you may consider a clutch replacement. Neither job should be attempted by a novice and you really need a manual if your doing it yourself to ensure you don't mess up the timing etc etc

How hard is it change front and rear oil seals?

By front and rear oil seals, I am assuming that you are refering to the CRANKSHAFT front and rear oil seals.
The front crankshaft oil seal is under all the components that must be removed to replace the timing belt.
The standard labor time to replace this seal is 4.0 hours for the 4 cylinder and 4.8 hours for the V-6.

The rear crankshaft oil seal requires removal of the transaxle to replace it.
The standard labor time required to do this is 7.3 hours

This is not a job for a novice unless you want to purchace a service manual and spend a lot of time reading the instructions before jumping into it.

I have a 2001 kia sportage. There is oil leaking into where the spark plugs are and shorting them out. Where could the leak be coming from?

You have a broken seal that is seated around the tube where SPARK PLUGS go thru. Fixing it is easy for a novice mechanic, just remove the VALVE COVER and u will see the SEAL around the tube, clean the area around the tube so that it will be oil free, replace all 4 seals, and put in a new one w/ a light coat of silicone sealant, clean also the valve cover gasket put some sealant. Put back the cover and ur done! Hope that makes ur day! taaah!

Most oil seals are just pressed in from the outside. I've removed oil seals by using a small Allen wrench to hook the seal and pull it out.

I need to change the door seal on a Hotpoint Aquarius WMA50

Basic diy tools should be ok. Take out lid screws behind plastic caps on edge(will be stars but small flat will do it).Lift front of lid and push back to remove.Remove kick plate and take out screws behind it.Remove band holding front end of seal and detach seal from rim of opening. Remove screws holding door lock and push lock through. Remove soap drawer & take out screws behind it.Carefully bring panel forward & slide to right to remove(Take care here with board &wiring)Remove screws holding front panel & lift front panel & remove it.Remove band from seal and your there.Note locating slot on seal. If possible get an extra pair of hands to hold panel with board to avoid damage.

Wf860 door seal

un-plug the washer take the lid off now open the door undue the clasp that goes around the rim of the door seal on the outside of the washer (look carefully) once done the door seal should push into the washer now if u look into the washer from the top at the front though u will see a another clasp going around the door seal on the inside of the washer this is a screw un-screw it once done then the door seal should pull out repeat backwards to replace it m8
