My heater comes on but it will not fire the glow heat is working the filter in line is clear just will not get fuel to it and will not fire it was working OK and then just will not fire. Thanks

Usually, this type of problem can be related to ( I hate to say this) many things with these heaters. But, the primary ones in no specific order: Obstruction in the nozzle, Pump pressure needs adjustment, ignition control assembly is failing.

To help you Troubleshoot it even further, I am providing a link to the Owners Manual of your heater (just in case you have misplaced yours) that has a thorough Troubleshooting Guide and how to solve the problem(s).

I really hope this helps you solve the problem.

I have a 115,000 btu reddy heater (all-pro generic branding) and the heater consumes too much diesel and needs to have the fuel flow adjusted. How do you adjust the fuel flow? Thanks

Get online to You and download a manual there.
There are two ports on the black box behind the fan motor. One is just a plug where you should connect a pressure guage. The other is like a relief valve that keeps the pressure in the black box constant. The air goes to the fitting behind the fuel nozzle. This fitting is an eductor. The air flowing through it creates a low pressure which then draws the fuel to the nozzle. The air pressure and therefore the amount of airflow controls how much full will be drawn in. More pressure, more fuel. Less pressure, less full. To lower the pressure, back the screw out that has the hole in the center.

I hmodelrave a reddy kerosene heater model rm115 when i plug it in it runnes for 2 sec then stops i replug it in the same thing

my 115 heater did about the same thing.Fuel filter was plugged.Open up the side panel on the LH (as seen from the rear of heater), should have 4 screws.Filter will be pressed in the tank, mine came out with a little effort, but it is made of plastic so I was careful. There is a small arrow indicating flow direction so I used compressed air to blow back through it.Use a flash light and check in your fuel tank to see if there is any crud in it.I have my owners manual so if you need copy of it let me know .E-mail

Unit will not run

Sounds like the pump pressure needs adjustment. If it's off from spec, (even a fraction), the unit will not fire up and run. If you still have your owners manual, check to see what the pump pressure is posted for. (probably around 3.5 PSI). Also, check for clogged fuel filter a that will restrict fuel flow and pressure...

Igniter lites up fan kicks on and within 5 sec shuts off

Dustin, The ignitor only glows for 5 seconds, just long enough to ignite the fuel. The heater is shutting down because the photocell does not see the correct flame color.
Since you say "comes on for 5 seconds", I can only assume that there is a flame. You do not specify a lack of flame. I am also assuming that you have had the heater running this heater season and the problem just started.

YOU must find out if the problem is fuel delivery related or electronics related. Start by checking the pump pressure.

air pressure should be no more than 3.5 psi. could be your pressure is too high and is blowing out the flame.
