Step1
Make sure the bulb is actually burned out. Confirm the oven is plugged in and that a circuit breaker is not tripped.
Step2
Look for the manual to determine what size bulb is required. Most use a 40 watt appliance bulb. If you can not find the manual, then buy a bulb to replace it after you take out the old one.
Step3
Confirm that the oven is not on. Allow it to cool to room temperature if it has recently been used.
Step4
Open the door and use a flashlight to light the area where the bulb is located. Do not put weight on the door itself, but go in at an angle or sideways.
Step
5
Find the shield or cover over the bulb, gently pull or twist it off. Some glass covers are surrounded by a wire clip or a ring that is screwed in to the back.
Step6
Gently remove either the wire clip or ring. Since the cover is most likely glass, be cautious. Unscrew the entire glass cover similar to a jar lid in older versions of ovens. Then repeat process if there is more than one bulb.

Thanks

To replace the bulb remove the vent grille across the top and see if bulbs can be accessed there. There may be a panel on the bottom covering the light.

How to replace light bulb in microwave

Howdy. KitchenAid states that is not a user replaceable part and must be done by a service technician. I have included the link to the manual in the event you have other use for it.

Will not turn on says door

There are 3 door switches arond the door that can throw up this error but if the 2 fuses are blown also it will throw up this error. You can ohm out any of the fuses or even the door switches but until you repair them it wont work. I have even found both fuses to be blown. If you are nervous about pulling apart your stove make sure whoever does is very familiar with this line of Kitchenaid. Hopefully this helps.
