Hello there! thanks for using Fixya.com

Well, you both should be honest to yourselves and be proud! Just both tell honestly to the girlfriend of the "boy"! Or that "boy" should be honest enough and strong enough to tell his girlfriend that he has another girl that really makes him and feel really special. I know it will hurt, but we need to face the reality. Love is love, we need to feel it and face the consequences. It is very hard to start it, but it is rewarding espcially for the both of you. Good luck!

Can you help me unscramble these letters,w e r r t o l

Hi Floyd:
Much of the satisfaction in solving scrabble or other word puzzle games comes from doing it yourself.
Having someone tell you the answer is a lot like having someone else date your girlfriend and then tell you how they enjoyed themselves.
Here's a few hints:
- The letters ER and RE often appear together at the beginning or end or the word.
- the letters WR often appear together,
- If you have few vowels and lots of consonants, the word must contain combined consonants.
Enjoy!

Solving ratio problems

There is a problem with the numbers you quote.

20 x 2/3 = 13.3 boys

You can't have 0.3 of a boy. So round that off to 13 boys. Girls are

20 - 13 = 7 in number. This is the nearest sensible answer.

What are possessive nouns

There is no such thing as a possessive noun.
However
when we want to show that something belongs to somebody or something, we usually add 's to a singular noun and an apostrophe ' to a plural noun, for example:
  • the boy's ball (one boy)
  • the boys' ball (two or more boys)

What is a plural noun

Consider a noun such as BOY. When there is only one (a single one) you can say something about the boy, or about a boy.
So you use the form BOY when there is a single one. This form is called the singular form of the noun BOY.
However if you are speaking about or pointing at a group ( of people ) in which everyone is a boy you use the modified form BOYS. This form is called the plural form of the noun BOY. The word plural means many.
The plural of a noun is usually made by adding s to the singular. It is pronounced S after a p, k, or f sound. Otherwise it is pronounced Z.
There are certain exceptions to this rule, the ones that come to my mind are: one child, three children; the man, 10 men; one woman, many women; a single knife, 12 knives; a potato, several potatoes; the top shelf, all the shelves.
Note: When you look for the meaning of a noun in a dictionary, you look for the singular form, although the plural is indicated in full if it is irregular (does not follow the rule).

A noun you add an 's to. Example: the boy's ball, the teacher's pet, etc.... In these 2 example, boy's and teacher's are possessive nouns.

The ratio of the number of boys to the number of girls is 2:7 if there are 250 more girls than boys, how many boys are there?

Let b the number of boys, and g the number of girls.
b/g=2/7 => 7b=2g
g=b+250
7b=2(b+250)=2b+500
5b=500 ==> b=100
g=b+250=100+250=350
Verification: 100/350=10/35=2/7
