I have inherited the above laptop from an auction. I wiped it clean and reinstalled Windows XP but can not get the wireless card to work. The only way I can connect to the internet is with a USB Wireless adapter.
In have installed the proper drivers (I think) yet in my Device Manager->Ethernet Controller has a yellow question mark. I have searched and searched for a fix and have found that I am not the only one that has had this problem, but I have found no real fixes for it.
I can't toggle the wireless on the laptop either.
I am at my wits end with this and need help!
Thank you in advance!
Lisa

Also tried reinstalling the Win XP and cannot get the wireless card to work.
I have tried every driver from Lenovo's site. In the Device Manager, it used to say 11 a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter.
Now it's Other Devices ! Ethernet Controller Yellow Exclamation Point
I have a R51 IBM ThinkPad and I can't get the internet at all, not with a cable or wire less, I need to get drivers for them but i don't know how or where to get them.
