Question about Lenovo ThinkPad R51
I have inherited the above laptop from an auction. I wiped it clean and reinstalled Windows XP but can not get the wireless card to work. The only way I can connect to the internet is with a USB Wireless adapter.
In have installed the proper drivers (I think) yet in my Device Manager->Ethernet Controller has a yellow question mark. I have searched and searched for a fix and have found that I am not the only one that has had this problem, but I have found no real fixes for it.
I can't toggle the wireless on the laptop either.
I am at my wits end with this and need help!
Thank you in advance!
welcome to fixya, what u can try is that installe dth utility for the wireless card and turn on the wireless zero configuration from the windows and then try and connect with the windows and also with the utility,or what u can also try is that go to the router page and then configure the wireless lan,as alike 802.11 b/g channel and then try and connect if it still doesnt connect then resintall the operating system and then try and connect it should work.....good luck......pls rate this solution for me pls.....
