Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
The device manager says the modem is working properly.
Another computer linked to the same phone line with the same cables works.
The dial up settings on the Toshiba laptop are identical to those on the PC that does work.
However, the Toshiba laptop is not finding a dial tone on a dial-up internet connection.
Could there be a fault with the modem or is it more likely to be a connection problem between the modem and the phone line input socket?
Just go to the modem properties and you will see a option there called wait for dail tone if u see tick mark there please remove the tick mark your problem might get solved. if this doenst work then check up ur cable and the modem
