Replace a PSP screen quick and easy

The guide to fixing your PSP screen the easy way!!!!!

This Guide will give you simpleinstructions on fixing the psp screen with little to no stress. Besure to keep all your things in one place and try to do everything inone sitting or at least do it in a area where you know somebody won'tknow knock the parts to the floor as there is a lot of small screwsand thing. Try to use a small box or pan to keep screws and otherparts and keep yourself grounded but keeping parts of yourskin(unclothed)to something made of metal.

1) Flip you PSP to its backside and besure the back cover that holds the battery is off. There are twoscrews in back of the battery. On could be covered by a sticker. Besure to peel it of slowly as it will void you warranty if it isruined.

  1. After you get these out look on the bottom side, you will see a screw that is dead center of the psp. The last two are above and below where the memory card slot is.
  2. Take the faceplate off. Now you will see a a small set of buttons on the screen. To the right of it
is a small cable. Use a flathead screwdriver to the clasp and pull the cable out.
  3. You will now see two clamps for the screen where the button assembly for the d-pad is. The same thing for the other side where the face buttons for the psp are. Take all the clamps off by use the flathead screwdriver again. Put in in between the screen and clamps and give it a little turn.
  4. You have the screen out now. Pull it from both sides very slowly. Be very careful as there are cables still connected. Flip the screen out as we are going to take the cables off the screen now.
  5. There are two black clasps holding the screen cables on there. Lift them up(slowly!)and take the cables off. If those claps are broke there is no fix outside a new motherboard so don't break them.
  6. Put the screen into the clasps putting in all necessary cables that were went thru taking off. Sit the LCD screen snugly and and lock clasps. Return faceplate and all buttons to original positions to be sure everything will play right. Before you close it all up be sure everything is in place and fits well. Be sure to put the buttons back on and connect it to the motherboard. Turn the psp on and be sure it all works well. If it is having any pronlems go back over each step in reverse order from when we put the screen in.
  7. Once you go get the screen working put the screen back on and tighten all the screws. We are all done!!! Enjoy your PSP and I will see you online in Resistance!

Hey guys, If anyone wants to help me get some pictures up shoot me a comment on here. My digital Camera died today and it will be awhile before I will buy a new one(maybe its good because since my PSP is still under warranty)thanks!

unplug the power cord first!!!
if you lift up the cover for the keypad, there will be a little hole under the black switch. press the little button like thing and then slide the whole thing forward. unplug the ribbon strips and undo the screws. then open the lid where you photocopy (top one) and undo the screws on the left. then pull the lid upwards so that it comes of. it will take a bit of strength. there will be a screw there, undo it.

this will enable you to lift the whole thing of so that you can get inside. if you look at the glass screen, you will notice that there is a white strip next to it. mark a little dot on the other side of the plastic where the white strip is. the put the glass back on. mark a dot on the main body where the white strip is. lift he screen of and line the light bar with the mark you have drawn.

put it all back together and start it up. hopefully it should work :)

My psp umd door wont close properly, what is the problem

maybe something on the inside is moved because ive openened a psp before and the thing in the back of the screen is like a hook that holds the screen shut. or maybe the little thing in your umd door that holds that little closing thing broke off. u can solve this also by hacking your psp and running the games trough the M33 driver. =D

Replacing blower motor in furnace w/Fasco brand #D727

Some one missed the wiring diagram. I believe its like this:
L1 = Line 1 = (Hot all are same thing)
Black Hi
Blue Med
Red LO
Now usually the black is for AC and connects to a normally Open (NO) contact on the blower relay.
The heater speed (either red or blue) go the the normally Closed (NC) on the blower relay and on one side of this wire or contact on the relay it goes to the heating blower thermostat on the furnace.
The remaining wire (blue or red) you tape off.
L1 also feeds the Run Capacitor on 1 side and the Brown wire feeds the opposite side

The white wire is Neutral and goes to the neutral on the main line.

If this helps you please rate me accordingly and good luck.

Only right side of screen

If the TV cost to much to repair, would you be willing to sell it for parts? My front glass screen has got a chip in it. Cant see paying 500 just to have a new one installed.

Sounds to me that you have a bad connection/wire to the CCFL bulb on that side of the display. Should be an easy fix, do it your selfer thing.

PSP black line on bottom of screen

This is definitely a broken LCD display screen. Since it's out of warranty you'll have to pay to have Sony repair it or just buy a new one. Bummer. Sorry to hear that you're having this trouble.
