Have you been playing the unit really loud or have you connected more speakers to the device, than originally came with the unit? I had a Yamaha unit and connected 4 extra speakers to the unit, which eventually overheated the device and the device would simply shut off, until it cooled down, however; the unit finally failed and burned up. I used a fan to keep the unit cool, until it finally failed, though......

I am trying to repair my Yamaha club series SM15V monitor speaker. the crossover is blown Board # NBY0730 Can anybody tell me what the values are (all of them) for the capacitor at CL1 as it is so fried...

Hello,CL1 on this crossover network is not a capacitor but a current limiter (Part # RXE-135). It is designed to open the circuit when overpowered (heated beyond a certain threshold) and return normal function after a few minutes (after cooling). It is used to protect the components from being pushed beyond their limits.
Please refer to the page 5 of the Yamaha Club Series Service Manual for more information: http://www.yamaha.com.cn/resource/support/corporate/station/manual/list/proaudio/CLUBC_CW_CM.pdf

How do I code my Yamaha rx-v361 receiver onto my comcast remote control?

To program your remote follow these steps.
1-Turn on the receiver
2-press the "AUX" device key on the remote control
3-Press and hold the "setup" button until the aux key blinks twice, than release the setup button.
4-Enter one of the following codes
30176 or 31176
5-If you entered the code correctly, the AUX key will blink twice and turn off. Now aim the remote at the receiver and press power. If the device turns off, than the code functioned properly. If the receiver does not respond, restart the procedure and enter the other code provided
Good Luck

I want to play my tascam guitar trainer through my yamaha pa. will there be any impedance problems . Want to use this as background music, howecer have little knowledge about pa systems. thanks

You'll be just fine. The Yamaha PA inputs are able to take high or low impedance inputs via the Line-In (1/4") input.

I would not recommend plugging your trainer into the mic level (XLR) input. The preamp will be fine, but you'll have to turn the gain so low that you'll be in the nonlinear part of the gain circuit, and the sound quality will suffer.

If that helps, hit the "thumbs-up" for me. If you have other questions, or if I can explain further, just post-back and I'll see what I can do.

Problem with Sony DAV C770 DVD player

theres a mechanical system inside this unit that most of it is made out of nylon or plastic gears and levers so im thinking that somehow the unit broke one of the gears or cams and cant complete its cycle or somethings inside the unit like a paper cd label or something liker that But my moneys on a broken loading mechaism and the onlty way to fix that is to get a complete mechanical service manual and start from sratch with the alighnments and then you will see when one isent in the right spot. This is not an easy repair unless you do these makes and models all the time as there are so many alighnments and gears that it seems how did this ever work>?? good luck PS send this unit to someone who knows!!
