Question about RCA F27664 27" TV
So, my ten year old RCA F27664 has been a real workhorse, but now it's showing it's age by taking a while to come on. The Picture takes anywhere from 3-30 minute before it comes up. Sometimes it works fine but then again it will not come on. I've checked all the cables, but it's just an intermittent issue. Is it the bulb and can it be replaced or is it time to retire the old thing. Thanks in advance!
Replace the TV. The average lifespan of direct view CRT based TVs is 8-10 years. Take a leap into the 21st century and pick out a nice flat panel LCD. Take the old RCA attach a rope to it and bring it along on your next fishing trip and use it as an anchor.
