Hi, there is a factory wire (red with a black stripe) in your car for illuminating the stock radio. This wire is not to be used in an aftermarket radio, so you need to make sure it isn't connected and also isolate and bare wire with electrical tape. Did you buy factory pads or get cheap aftermarket pads? If aftermarket did you get the ceramic? The cheap aftermarket ones tend to squeal pretty bad. Like the last comment on here, you should have your rotors turned whenever you change the pads.
